The Sled Dogs are proud of a long history of service within the BMW Motorcycle Owners of America and are registered as a chartered club.
Starting with Sled Dog Security for the 1994 Rally in Moodus, Connecticut, members of the Sled Dogs have volunteered at every MOA International Rally since, including chairing security in Rhinebeck, Master of Ceremonies (Rhinebeck, Charleston) Treasury (Rhinebeck, Redmond, Charleston and Spokane) Vintage show (Rhinebeck and Charleston) and as Rally Chairs (Rhinebeck, Charleston and Vermont in 2006).
Away from the Rally, Sled Dogs serve the MOA on the web and forum team. There are two Sled Dogs who serve on the MOA Board of Directors as Secretary (Rob Nye) and Director (Michael Friedle).
